Renfrew Museum & Park and the Contemporary School of Arts invite the public to commemorate African American heritage on Sunday, February 26, 1 PM to 3 PM, with presenters Richard Kline and Janet Pollard. Kline will present on the Shockey Farm and the Underground Railroad, and Pollard on the Routes and Roles of Franklin County’s Underground Railroad.

The presentation will be held in the Wagon Shed, adjoining the Visitors Center at Renfrew Museum. Admission is complimentary. Donations are accepted.

The Contemporary School of Arts, which strives to bring the community an environment where all ages can be enriched by the art awareness experience, celebrates African American heritage each February with local and regional presentations to commemorate the importance of African American contributions.

Renfrew Museum & Park works to serve Waynesboro and the surrounding areas as a cultural and natural resource.
