Plein Air Painters are invited to Hammond Rocks on October 11, 2016 from 1 PM to 3 PM to demonstrate a better way to enjoy the beauty of Hammond Rocks.

Please bring your easel, paint, and a canvas to be part of a project to help protect the beauty of PA Parks. Volunteers are working hard to restore the natural beauty of Hammond Rocks. Graffiti obscures the natural beauty and funds are being raised to support the removal of the graffiti. Plein air artists can donate their paintings of Hammond Rocks to support the graffiti removal project. For those artists unable to make the October date, efforts to make a Spring and Fall 2017 sessions are under consideration. The October 11 event is made possible by a grant from The Alexander Stewart MD Foundation.

Getting to Hammond Rocks:  Use Google Maps and enter Hammond Rocks, Dickinson Township PA as the destination. Suggested entry points are: Pine Grove Road to Coldspring Road to Ridge Road or Route 233 to Edge Road.
