Come to Whitetail just over the MD-PA line in Franklin County—a 90-minute drive from the Baltimore-Washington area. A 935-foot vertical and wide-open, straight-down-the-fall-line slopes add up to a great day of skiing for intermediate and beginning skiers. And, for expert skiers, there are moguls.

Whitetail also offers snowboarding on its in-ground halfpipe, measuring 475 feet in length and 12 feet in height. The terrain park offers five or six table tops, a quarter pipe, and a two or three rails, including a rainbow. And, don’t forget the snowtubing in five lanes with two lifts. All together Whitetail has 19 trails, a high-speed quad, and skiing under the stars—until 10 PM seven days a week from December until March. Think snow!!
