“It’s the place to be on Saturday Mornings,” says Market Coordinator Julia Lehman. “A lot of people come to market because they like knowing where their food comes from. Others come because of the atmosphere. A stroll through market is the perfect start to summer weekends.”
Food vendors will have breakfast and lunch items available.
Kids aged 3 -12 are encouraged to sign up for POP (Power Of Produce) Club.
POP Members receive $2 in tokens per market visit to be used on fresh fruits and vegetables.
Membership in POP Club is free.
SNAP/Access card users can receive ten dollars when they use their card to spend ten dollars to buy eligible food items.
The market is a project of the Chambersburg Downtown Business Council, a non-profit organization that supports the downtown community.
NSFM’s 2017 season, which runs Saturdays from May 27 to October 21, 8 a.m. to noon, will feature a greater number of vendors this year and Second Saturday Events each month.
Free parking is available behind the market at the Franklin County Courthouse.
