Fall is fabulous at AppleFest  in Downtown Chambersburg. Lots of great arts, crafts, and food vendors plus kids activities. 

 

 



During the festival, enjoy live music on two stages. The 104.7 WAYZ stage will feature:
Michael Christopher at 9 a.m.
Devon Nickoles at 11 a.m.
Jessie Chris at 12:30 p.m.
C Wired at 2 p.m.
The 101.5 Bob Rocks and Now 92.1 stage will include performances by:
Evan Crider at 9 a.m.
Drew Adams at 10 a.m.
Two DJs from The Beat Committee at 12:00 p.m.
Ask Again Later at p.m.2 :00 p.m.

 


The Foundry will be celebrating their one-year anniversary with an Artist Challenge. The People’s Choice will allow community members to evaluate and vote on their favorite work of art from noon to 12:45 p.m. at The Foundry’s retail space, 100 S. Main St. Each vote will be worth a quarter. Prizes will be awarded at 1 p.m. A live auction will immediately follow the People’s Choice vote from 1 to 2 p.m. led by auctioneer Carl Ocker of Kenny’s Auction. During this time, the community will have the opportunity to purchase their favorite pieces of the day.

 

 


 

HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!

Jan Zell Wines is celebrating a one year anniversary with the release of five new wines along with two special offers: 1/2 price tastings ($2.50) from noon to 2 pm

 

 

 


It is also the final day of the 2016 season for the North Square Farmers Market, and will be set up throughout the day from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Live music will also be performed at the market, featuring Don’t Look Down at 8:30 a.m., Bart Patterson at 10:45 a.m. and more.

 

 

 

 


This event, always held the third Saturday of October, has become a tradition in Franklin County!

Janette Koons will be demonstrating how she creates watercolor paintings for visitors to the co-op. Koons relies on wildlife and rural life on the farm as inspirations for her paintings. Watercolor is her preferred medium as it allows her the pure spontaneity and freshness that she strives for in her work.   She is a member of the Waynesboro Studio Art Club, Franklin County Art Alliance, and the Valley Art Association. Kabler is the head of the Nashville Chapter of Global Songwriters Connection. He has written over 500 songs and recorded nine CD’s, and several independent cuts.
