Gallery 50, “ECLECTIC: Art for the Holidays and Beyond,”

Friday, November 3rd, 2023 * 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Gallery 50 will host an opening reception for a new art exhibition, “ECLECTIC: Art for the Holidays and Beyond,” at 50 West Main Street in downtown Waynesboro.
The evening will showcase the new artwork and include free refreshments in addition to live music from Prophets of the Abstract Truth in the adjacent Music Makers space.
The ten featured artists are Jean Frey, Dee Henry, Seth Holmes, Amélie Lavenant-Wink, Julie Maynard, Leslie McEntire, Laurie McKelvie, Heidi O’Toole, Christine Stovall, and Gallery 50 curator Marti Yeager.
“We’re looking forward to sharing an ‘eclectic’ new exhibit for the holiday season and beyond,” Yeager said.
“Featuring 10 regional artists, this show is a diverse mix of subjects, styles, and media—including oil, acrylic, watercolor, collage, and photography.”
The gallery will also have new fine art and crafts by local artists available on the shelves: pottery, jewelry, wood carvings, ornaments, stained glass art, and more.
Following the reception, the exhibit will be on display through January 27, 2024.
Beginning November 10th, 2023, Gallery 50 will be open Fridays from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Saturdays from 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM, and by appointment.
In addition, the full exhibit will soon be available to browse and purchase on the gallery’s online shop at www.gallery50-aagw.square.site
Gallery 50 is owned and operated by the Arts Alliance of Greater Waynesboro and spotlights fine art and high-quality crafts from local artists and artisans.
