Create a Mythical Creature Home | Charles Brightbill Environmental Center, Mercersburg
You are invited to create and submit a “Fairy House” or Gnome Home, made of materials found in nature to be on display along the TWEP trails.
Visitors will be able to walk the trails and see these unique creations in addition to visiting the Cumberland Valley Woodcarvers during their show in the Charles Brightbill Environmental Center on Saturday, October 3rd from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
The community is invited to visit the Center and enjoy area woodcarvers and their creations.
You will enjoy seeing a wide variety of carved items.
These carvers have perfected their craft over many years.
They like talking about their work and have great advice for anyone beginning to carve.
There is no admission fee.
Concessions will be available throughout the day.
This will also be a great time to take a walk on the trails and see the fairy houses and gnome homes that have been created by individuals and families.
We are hoping for great participation!
TWEP’s monthly Open House on Sunday October 4th from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
