DESCRIPTION:Saturday September 20th\, 2025 * 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM\nFranklin County is celebrating the 250th birthday of the United States.\nJoin the celebration at the Franklin County 11/30 Visitors Center in downtown Chambersburg.\nKick off celebration with the unveiling of Franklin County’s Bell Across PA\, music\, living history\, and a birthday cake to celebrate 250 years of America.\n\nThe America250PA Franklin County Committee joined the Greencastle Old Home Week Celebration with a float to show off the progress of the Franklin County Bell Across PA.\nThe float was accompanied by frontier\, Civil War\, World War II\, and contemporary figures to represent the centuries of history in the county.\nSAVE THE DATE to see the finished bell by Franklin County artist Andrea Finch of The Foundry.
