DESCRIPTION:Saturday October 4th\, 2025 * 8:30 AM\nJoin the Cumberland Valley Rails-to-Trails Council for the 19th annual TrailFest.\nAll events will be held at Shippensburg Station located at the corner of Fort and Earl Streets in Shippensburg.\nHalf Marathon\nOur main event is a half marathon.\nThe out and back course will start and finish at Ship Station on the Cumberland Valley Rail Trail.\nAn Event for Everyone\nYou can choose from a Half Marathon\, 5k Race\, 10-mile Hike\, 25-mile Bike Ride\, or just get moving with a 1 Mile Fun Run/ Walk (Free for kids from 1 to 100).\nAll events will be run on the Cumberland Valley Rail Trail and will traverse almost 13 miles of completed rail-trail between the Shippensburg and Newville.\nYour registration (except the free 1 mile) gets you a 1 free craft beer\, craft soda or wine and a free event t-shirt.\nAll proceeds from the event will benefit the Cumberland Valley Rail-to-Trails Council (CVRTC) and will be used for maintaining the current trail\, extending the trail toward Carlisle and Chambersburg\, and maintaining the Cumberland Valley Railroad Museum.\nRegister HERE\n  \n
