DESCRIPTION:Tuesday October 7th\,  14th\, 21st and 28th\, 2025 * 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM\nDesigned for kids in grades K to 5th grade.\nLocation: Buttonwood Nature Center in Waynesboro.\nAll program activities are outside\, and each week features a different theme. \nTaught by educators from Buttonwood Nature Center\, home of The Institute\, programs include educational activities related to the season and theme. \nStudents may attend any or all sessions.\nSee the series flier here.\nLearn all about an often seen but little understood animal—the squirrel!\nParticipants will learn how squirrels prepare for winter by listening to a story\, going for a hike\, playing games\, and getting squirrelly!\nPre-registration and payment in advance are required.\nFee: $6 per child\, per session for member of Buttonwood/The Institute\, and $7 per child\, per session for the general public. \nAttendance is limited.
