DESCRIPTION:Sunday February 22nd\, 2026 * 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM\nHeld at Pine Hill Recreation Area near Waynesboro\, Pennsylvania.\nOur guided walks along the StoryWalk® trail continue…\nThe book for February is The Hat by Jan Brett\, a delightfully original companion book to Jan Brett’s bestseller The Mitten.\nWe will take a walk and read The Hat by Jan Brett\, followed by a warm winter’s fire accompanied by s’mores and hot cocoa.\nThere will also be hand-crocheted children’s hats available while supplies last!\nThe event is FREE\, and registration is not required. \nFor more information\, email info@buttonwoodnaturecenter.org or call 717.762.0373. \nChildren in grades K–5 may be dropped off and picked up at 2:30 PM.\n All families are welcome\, but activities are geared for preschool and elementary age kids.\nSpecial events will happen four times a year to mark the changing seasons.\nEach StoryWalk® event celebrates the season in a fun and meaningful way with special activities.
