Learn to indigo dye during the “blue” hours!
We will learn about indigo and explore various Shibori (similar to tie dye) resist method.
When you’re ready to dye you will see the wonder of indigo as your creation emerges from the dye bath colored green and turns blue before your eyes.
We will be using a synthetic indigo vat to dye 1 pairs of bamboo socks and a cotton bandana (27” x 27”).
Each student may also bring a t-shirt or some cotton cloth from home to dye.
Additional pairs of socks ($5.00 each), bandanas ($3.00 each) will be available for purchase if you want to make more.
Please wear old clothes.
