The Middleburg/Mason-Dixon Line Historical Society will meet at the State Line Ruritan Building, 15481 Park Drive, located off Route 11 at the State Line, PA Community Park.
Guest speaker is Debra Novotny, a Licensed Battlefield Guide for 43 years and former American History teacher from Gettysburg, PA.
The program will be “Rally ‘Round the Flag: Stories About the Flags of Gettysburg.”
The flag was more than a piece of cloth or silk during a Civil War battle.
Come hear the many stories of courage and sacrifice involving Union and Confederate flags, and their bearers in the Battle of Gettysburg.
