MEET YOUR CTA COORDINATORS
My experiences over the last few years have landed me my dream job and I couldn’t be more excited to be a coordinator for the CTA program! Outside of my work life, I have two of the most adorable children in the world and am married to the man of my dreams! My family is my life! We enjoy outdoor living when the weather is nice and love to visit wineries! Music feeds my soul and if my husband and I can get away just the two of us, you can almost guarantee we are going to a concert. I am always working on my next big idea and I LOVE to plan and host events. I am most definitely an optimistic individual; a glass half full kind of girl!
I am a Coordinator for the Franklin County CTA Program. I am business management undergraduate from Shippensburg University. Additionally, you can find me playing music at bars, breweries, wineries and other venues around the area! Most importantly, I am a big time foodie and always looking for the next best meal and restaurant.
NEED TO KNOW
Dianna Heim, CTA
Why did I choose to become a CTA? I feel fortunate to have called this my home for a long time now. My curiosity has always lead me, like learning about Cumberland Valley barns or discovering my local genealogy. I realized I wanted to know more about this place that provided a safe place to raise a family, the friendship of warm and generous people, career opportunities and lifelong learning.
I like being a CTA because the joy of the unexpected. You never know who you will meet when volunteering, where they come from, what stories they have to share about visiting or living here, and how interesting their experiences have been. It can really be a joy to connect with people and share their enthusiasm about life in Franklin County.
The national CTA program is a great resource and gives you a good perspective of how other CTA regional programs are telling how special “a sense of place” is. CTAs not only promote local attractions, they promote people. By doing that, you begin to value others more and what they give to our communities – they are the treasures worth knowing.
