Wet Cyanotype Workshop

Wet Cyanotype Workshop

(Days Must Be Purchased Together – Cost is $150)
No ARTISTIC Talents Needed!
We will spend a good bit of time outside but when in th home studio you will be ask to use a mask and social distancing.
Come be introduced to the beautiful art form of UV reactive wet cyanotype. You will love the striking wet cyanotype prints you make at this workshop. The workshop will be held at the home studio beginning on Friday evening at 6:30 pm. On Saturday we will meet again at my home studio a day of “cooking” our prints in the sun or any UV light available to us.  Be sure to bring your digital camera or smartphone to photograph your prints each step of the way.
The cost of the workshop includes watercolor paper, rice paper, printmaking paper, cyanotype kit, and all other supplies needed including glass panels. After registration, you will be provided with a supply list of things you will find helpful. You will need to gather leaves and flowers, press them flat in a book and bring them to class on Saturday. You are also welcome to bring lace, and other textures items to use in printing. I love to use onion bags, stencils, and many other odd items.
You will have supplies to take home for more printing on your own. If you love botanical and nature art, you are sure to love this art form!
Be sure to bring your lunch on Saturday!
A detailed supply list will be sent one week prior to the workshop.
