Clothing for Kids, 11/30 Visitors Center

Saturday July 16th, 2022 * 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
We invite you to help us support local non-profit Homeless Matters of Franklin County in an effort to collect new t-shirts for children ahead of the 2022-2023 school year!
T-shirt donations are requested for sizes 4-16 and can be dropped off at the 11/30 Visitors Center Mon – Fri 8am – 4:30pm.
Homeless Matters will join us and be present during Old Market Day.

The Food Truck Benefit, My Neighbors Bounty Food Pantry

All proceeds to benefit, My Neighbors Bounty
A variety of food trucks and delicious food fare will be available, as well as products from Cold Spring Hollow Distillery, Rough Edges Brewing Co., and entertainment from Speaks DJ. Peckin’ Thyme Farms will be bringing their petting zoo as well, pony rides, plus additional children’s activities (cake wheel, ring toss, and more).
Stay tuned to this event page for the full list of vendors, but as of now we will have smoked and BBQ foods, Asian cuisine, authentic jerk products, hot dogs and sausages, burgers, butterfly potatoes, country ham sandwiches, funnel cakes, French fries, kettle corn, wood fired pizza, ice cream and more!
Vendors: Almost Heaven Concessions, Asia Fusion Elite, Dougies BBQ, C&G Authentic Jerk, CC Funnel Cakes, Charlie Hot Dog Cart & Moo Ice Cream, Edward’s Kettle Corn, One North Coffee & Bake Shop, Peculiar Pizza, Others TBA.
We hope you will come out and help support our local food pantry; remember, they are always accepting non-perishable food donations and monetary support, so feel free to bring any donations to the event.
The United Way of Franklin County will also be on site for the “Stuff the Bus” event, so remember to bring school supply donations as well (donated items stay within the Tuscarora School District).

CVBA Auction Benefit Mixer, Gateway Gallery Auction

Come mix, bid and raise funds for seven area nonprofits during this unique CVBA Mixer! Social mixing begins at 5 p.m. with food provided by Ledo Pizza, followed at 5:30 p.m. by a LIVE in-house and online auction of items donated by local nonprofits.
All proceeds benefit the following: Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter, Franklin County Library System, Totem Pole Playhouse, Boys & Girls Club of Chambersburg & Shippensburg, Leg Up Farm Franklin County, the Rotary Foundation and Chamber Foundation.

Fall Food Drives:
We are collecting food for needy people in our community.
\We are assisting Franklin Together by helping collect supplies for a home-made Thanksgiving Dinner for the local Women In Need organization. Items are needed by November 18.
We are also collecting non-perishable, unexpired food for Gracie’s Place and Blessing Boxes.  These items are needed by December 18.
