Alway…Patsy Cline is based on a true story about Cline’s friendship with a fan from Houston named Louise Seger, who befriended the star in a Texas honky-tonk in 1961, and continued correspondence with Cline until her death.
The musical play, complete with down home country humor, true emotion and even some audience participation, includes many of Patsy’s hits such as Crazy, I Fall to Pieces, Sweet Dreams and Walking After Midnight…27 songs in all. The show’s title was inspired by Cline’s letters to Seger, which were consistently signed “Love Always…Patsy Cline.”
Pick one or all of the class dates for your child to attend. We will be doing completely different projects in each class.
Our class will begin with a discussion regarding our personal stories about fun times, or pivotal events, whatever each child feels comfortable with.
I will prompt the kids to think about symbols, colors, and lines to use in their artwork to communicate their emotions and story. We will be drawing, using watercolors, colored pencils, and perhaps acrylics.
These classes will be taught at my home under my tents.( Susan’s Home Studio 9958 RABBIT RD S, Greencastle, PA). We will be walking our farm and perhaps having a few scavenger hunts too. If it rains we will be in my home studio.
Please dress your child accordingly for outdoor play and apply bug spray before coming. Directions to my home will be emailed with your receipt.

Joyful Arts is excited to announce our newest class aimed at inspiring young artists!
Waves of Emotion, an abstract piece, is created using Inktense color pencil and watercolors on Bristol board.
While creating this 11×14 masterpiece, your child will explore art theory, color theory, depth perception, and storytelling through art.
We will be primarily focusing on expressing emotion through their own individual works of art.
Now is the perfect time for your child to get back out in the world and socialize while expressing their feelings after a year of isolation. A perfect way to kick off summer!
This class will be a 4-part series, on Wednesdays throughout the month of June. This class will also be taught outside, please dress appropriately.
