Fun Fest at Totem Pole Playhouse

Totem Pole Playhouse, 9555 Golf Course Road, Fayetteville (Caledonia) is welcoming the community back.
Fun Fest will feature food trucks, fresh popcorn and flavored cotton candy, a kids’ free craft tent, Tillie the Clown, Holly & friends face/arm painting, Friends of Totem Pole bake sale, a Gigantic Yard sale, the Totem Pole gift shop, live music, backstage tours, a 50/50 raffle and Miss Cyd’s selfie/photo booth.
Food trucks will include FAT Russ BBQ and Maddie Ann’s Perogies.
Homemade family favorites such as cakes, pies, cookies and brownies, will be featured in the bake sale.
Enjoy Ragtime Piano with Totem Pole favorite Steven Zumbrun as you browse some new and gently used items in the yard sale.
Join local actress and Totem Pole regular Catherine Blaine for theatre/backstage tours during the day.
Please note all purchases are cash purchases only, and $50 and $100 bills cannot be accepted.

Celebrate the annual opening of Renfrew for its 46th operating season on Saturday, April 10, 2021!
Activities include tours, horse-drawn wagon rides, live music, historic demonstrations, Becky Dietrich Memorial Art Show, family fun area, and so much more on our 107-acre historic Pennsylvania German farmstead in beautiful Waynesboro.
Our Visitors Center gift shop and exhibit galleries will also be open along with the Royer farmstead outbuildings for all to enjoy. Won’t you join us?

Franklin Co. Local History Scavenger Hunt

Franklin County Historical Society
Join us for a local history scavenger hunt!
– Question packets will be available for purchase starting Oct. 1 here at the Old Jail or online through our gift shop on franklinhistorical.org
– Answers must be submitted by end of day Oct. 24 by dropping them off at the Old Jail or emailing scans to ophistory@pa.net
– $10 for each participant – if you have a partner or a team, please purchase and return answers for each person. Please be honest – this is a fundraiser for the nonprofit historical society.
– Each correct answer packet will be entered into a drawing – $50 first place, gift shop prizes for second and third
– The 12 questions will require travel throughout the general Chambersburg area
– Some answers will require participants taking photographs
