During Old Market Day on Saturday, July 16th, bring the kids to the 11/30 Visitors Center for a FREE guided canvas painting workshop!
Stop by the 11/30 Visitors Center during Old Market Day in downtown Chambersburg for a FREE guided canvas painting workshop.
This design will be fun for artists of all ages and is designed to be easily done by children as well!
Join us as we explore art and create a painting depicting Mt. Parnell seen along the Appalachian skyline across from the historic Fort Loudoun and overlooking the town of St. Thomas along Rt. 30 West!
This beautiful painting will showcase tallest knob of the mountain as the sun has just set illuminating the sky with deep blues, greens, yellow and orange with a bountiful starscape overhead

Nestled in the foothills of the Tuscarora Mountains; Mercersburg is a quaint town with a historic past.
Our Springfest is a large one-day festival, which attracts a wide variety of crafters, artisans, jewelers, food vendors, civic groups, and local businesses that participate.
Downtown merchants and restaurants are also in full swing during the festivities.
The popular Amish Donuts will be joining us again, as well as Cold Spring Hollow Distillery and Rough Edges Brewing (offering samplings and bottle purchases).
The JBHS Indoor Guard & Percussion will be present a program.
The JBHS Music Boosters will also be sponsoring the PA Farm Show Milkshake Machine, you will definitely want to stop by and get yours!
This event is a way for the community to celebrate small town, main street America; local businesses could use your support more than ever.

Celebrate the annual opening of Renfrew for its 47th operating season.
Activities include tours, horse-drawn wagon rides, historic demonstrations,  family fun area, and so much more on our 107-acre historic Pennsylvania German farmstead in beautiful Waynesboro.

Enjoy an intimate, hands-on culinary experience inside Renfrew’s 1814 Summer Kitchen.
Guests will be taught the basics of early nineteenth-century open hearth cooking techniques by preparing their own period meal under the guidance of our domestic life historians in period dress.
Menu selections reflect the seasonal ingredients available to local families like the Royers during the early nineteenth century and can be tailored to participants’ dietary needs.
You will learn about historic hearth equipment, how it works, and use it safely to create a delicious and hearty repast.
Nothing tastes better than a hearth-cooked meal made by your own two hands!

Members of the CVBA network and CI supporters are invited to partake in light drinks and snacks while enjoying this beautiful 30-acre site, or truly soak yourself in history by stepping into their 18th Century Tavern and try a genuine historic charcuterie, stew and perhaps even a drink tasting or two.
CI focuses on Culture and Nature, and so will celebrate the Welsh and Irish holidays (Saint David’s Day March 1st, Saint Patrick Day March 17th) with this mixer with meals and drinks inspired by both cultures. Contact us here, to RSVP.
