Christmas Magic in Downtown Chambersburg

Christmas Magic in Downtown Chambersburg

The Kick off to Christmas begins!
The Downtown Business Council of Chambersburg is ready to prove that even 2020 is no match for the magic of Christmas.
Santa has confirmed that he will indeed illuminate the tree and thousands of lights up and down Main Street for the first time by November 20; no one knows exactly when he’ll arrive to get the magic started.
Knowing old St. Nick’s preference for overnight activity, specially placed cameras are being installed to capture him in action.
Regardless of when Santa’s train makes its way to the Square, the magic of the first lighting of the downtown lights will be caught and made available here on our website for all to see.
Check back soon as new and favorite traditions come together on Main Street as Christmas Magic, presented by F&M Trust.
Houdini! His Life, His Magic

Houdini! His Life, His Magic

Capitol Theatre in downtown Chambersburg presents Houdini! His Life, His Magic on March 8 at 7:30 PM. Broadway and film actor, Duffy Hudson breathes excitement into the life of Harry Houdini, in a one-man show that celebrates the escape artist’s life and his astonishing magic. Harry Houdini was an illusionist and escape artist, who successfully liberated himself after being buried alive, submerged handcuffed in water-filled containers, or suspended in a straightjacket from a towering height.

All attendees of the show will have a chance to participate in a free paranormal investigation of the 92-year old Capitol Theatre with the Ghost Pit, after the Houdini show. The winner will be selected by a raffle, and Duffy Hudson will join the investigation.

Tickets can be purchased online here or at the door. Adult tickets are $20. Tickets for attendees 60 years or older are $17. Tickets for attendees ages 3-22 are $13.
