Pick one or all of the class dates for your children to attend. We will be doing completely different projects in each class.
There will be a guest storyteller at the beginning of each class. I’ve selected very animated storytellers! When the storyteller has finished the story we will work on “projects” relating to the story.
Your child will be prompted with questions and asked to respond by creating a work of art. We will be drawing, using watercolors, colored pencils, and perhaps acrylics.
These classes will be taught at my home under my tents. (Susan’s Home Studio 9958 RABBIT RD S, Greencastle, PA). We will be walking our farm and perhaps having a few scavenger hunts too. If it rains we will be in my home studio.
Please dress your child accordingly for outdoor play and apply bug spray before coming. Directions to my home will be emailed with your receipt.
Let your children discover and develop their inner creativity, with several art projects and techniques to be explored over the course of 4 weeks.
This in-person class instructed by Nicole Troup, will meet the PA Standards 9.1.3.A/B/C/D/E/F, introducing young art students to a variety of mediums and styles, and brief experiences with art history and terminology.
The children will create original artwork that reflects both their own ideas and the influence of famous artists throughout history. All materials will be provided.
To help ensure the health and safety of our patrons, instructors, and staff, class sizes are limited and the Council for the Arts is following the CDC guidelines with cleaning, social distancing, and requiring face masks or coverings.
