Families are invited to the grand opening of a new community resource that invites them to take a stroll on the nature trails at Pine Hill Park, while enjoying a delightful children’s story.
The Institute, in partnership with Summit Endowment and other sponsors, have installed a permanent StoryWalk®, which will feature a new storybook monthly.
The grand opening includes a ribbon cutting, plus guided StoryWalk® tours, free Nature Discovery Kits for families who complete a brief survey, and a make-and-take craft related to the story.
Event Schedule:
1:00 PM – 1:15 PM: Welcome and Brief Remarks Ribbon Cutting until 3:00 PM
• Guided Story Walks on the quarter hour (1:30, 1:45, 2:00, 2:15)
• Make-and-take craft related to the story (while supplies last)
• FREE Nature Discovery Kit (one per child for families that complete a brief family survey)
