The Friends of Pine Grove Furnace State Park will host its annual fall festival.
The Pine Grove Furnace State Park festival is a fun, two-day family-oriented event with food and craft vendors, entertainment, free hayrides, pumpkin carving, Smokey Bear and Woodsy Owl appearances, scarecrow making, beekeeping, broom making, apple cider making, candle dipping, kids activities, Birds of Prey, and historical demonstrations, including charcoal making and blacksmithing.
Saturday night will feature the annual pumpkin parade followed by the Legend of the Hairy Hand. There is no charge to enter the Park or the Festival, and most activities are free!
The famous Hairy Hand and Pumpkin Float is Saturday evening, October 15.
The pumpkin parade is at 6:15 PM, followed by the Hairy Hand Legend at 6:45 PM on Fuller Lake beach.
The legend will be told, and the raft of glowing pumpkins will be set afloat on the lake to keep the hairy hand away. 
Pine Grove Furnace State Park is located at 1100 Pine Grove Road, Gardners. 
The rain or shine event is held in the Furnace Stack and Fuller Lake Day Use Areas

Experience the maze at night!
Use your own flashlight to find your way thru our 5-acre maze in the dark!  Take a hayride, and roast marshmallows over an open fire.
2021 Flashlight Night Dates:
Every Saturday night September 11th thru October 16th 7:00 PM until 10:00 PM
*PLEASE NOTE: Saturday, October 23rd and Saturday, October 30th the maze will close at 6:00 PM due to transitioning to Haunted Nights in the maze.

Select Fridays:
Friday, September 17th and 24th from 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Friday, October 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th from 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
ADMISSION: $8 per person
Don’t forget your flashlight!  Flashlight rentals are available on a first come, first serve basis; $2 per rental; full refund when you return the light.
Marshmallows, Smores Kits and other refreshments will be available for purchase.
Stoner’s Dairy Farm does not allow food from home to be brought onto the premises.
This experience is intended solely to enjoy the maze at night. Haunted Nights at Stoner’s Dairy Farm are held in late October.
Please note: Keep in mind the corn maze is set in a natural environment. You may encounter uneven terrain, weather, and other potentially hazardous elements characteristic to a farm experience. Please plan accordingly and acknowledge these are risks you accept when visiting the farm. Please obey both common sense and posted rules when visiting.

Visit us the first Saturday of October for a ONE-DAY event filled
with added FUN… for the same great price of $8 per person. 
Attractions include:
Corn Maze, Mini Maze, Hayrides, Petting Zoo, Pedal Cart Track, Jump Pad, multiple Play Areas, Magic Show.
*Please note: There will be THREE Magic Shows (times to be announced).  Attractions in the Back Field will close at 6:30pm.
For an additional fee, enjoy:
Scarecrow Factory, Barrel Train Ride, Pumpkin Patch, Sunflower Field, Mums, a variety of fall décor, Antietam Dairy Ice Cream, Milkshakes, Floats, Sandwiches and Soups, & more.
Proceeds from this event support various community organizations including the James Buchanan Middle School and the Mobile AgEd Science Lab.

*** Regarding COVID 19:
We’re excited for your visit!  As always, all activities are outside in the farm-fresh open air.  We want to be a part of the solution; not the problem.  So in an effort to be socially responsible some activities may be modified or closed.  Due to the current Governor’s orders and social distancing mandate for businesses, there will be no hayrides this year unless it is booked as a private tour.  Food will be available as take-out only.  Please abide by all CDC guidelines while visiting, including: social distancing, wearing a mask if you’re unable to social distance, washing/sanitizing your hands frequently, and most importantly… STAY HOME IF YOU FEEL ILL.
