Try finding your way out of one of Franklin County’s corn mazes—Stoner’s Dairy Farm on Oelig Road in Mercersburg or Country Creek Corn Maze on Etter Road in Chambersburg. Mercersburg Townfest
Saturday, September 28, 2019 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Downtown Mercersburg More than 8,000 people are expected to attend this year’s 40th annual Mercersburg Townfest. The event, hosted by the Tuscarora Area Chamber of Commerce, features more than 120 crafters, artisans, culinary and local vendors, entertainment from community and school bands, with a children’s fun section on the grounds of the Mercersburg Elementary School.
Waynesboro’s Market Day – Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Crisp fall weather brings Mainstreet’s annual Market Day, always on the first Saturday in October. The event features all-day entertainment, including live music, dancing demonstrations, sidewalk sales, children’s activities and dozens of craft, specialty and food vendors. Entries in the annual Scarecrow Contest are displayed along Main Street lamp posts.
Mercersburg Beer & Wine Festival – Saturday, October 5, 2019
Enjoy plenty of room to spread-out and enjoy some great samplings, food, and entertainment. Hosted by the Tuscarora Area Chamber of Commerce at the Mercersburg Lions Club Park at 405 S. Park Ave. in Mercersburg. Gates for regular admission open at 1 PM and close at 5 PM. VIP Entry into the park will be at Noon The Mercersburg Beer and Wine Festival will offer an impressive array of 5+ wineries and vintners and 15+ Breweries with 30+ craft beers. Historic Mercersburg in southwest Franklin Count is the place to be on September 29! Enjoy Mercersburg Townfest and the Mercersburgl Beer & Wine Festival. Townfest is a street festival throughout the downtown with art, craft, and food vendors plus children’s activities. The festival, 9 AM to 3 PM does not have an entry fee and is a tradition for 39 years.
Adults, 21 and older, can enjoy the Mercersburg Beer & Wine Festival at the Mercersburg Lions Club Park at 405 S. Park Ave. in Mercersburg. Gates for regular admission open at 1 PM and close at 5 PM. With more than five wineries and 25+ breweries, featuring 50 craft beers, it is a great afternoon to spread out and enjoy some great samplings, food, and entertainment.
There are NO infants, toddlers, children or teens allowed. NO strollers, pets, coolers, picnic baskets, food or drinks permitted through the gate. Only 21 years and above allowed. Please bring federal or state ID; it is required for entry. Advance tickets are $30 and tickets at the gate are $35. Tickets includes free commemorative sample glass, unlimited responsible access to all beers, three samples from each vintner or winery, live music, access to purchase glasses or bottles of wine, plus free parking or free shuttle service. Designated driver tickets are $30 and also receive the commemorative sample glass but do not have on-site access to beer and wine. Two non-alcoholic coupons are included.
Online pre-event ticket purchasers will have first access to the FREE Saferide Shuttle! Reservations for the shuttle are REQUIRED. No reservation will be accepted without online purchase of tickets for the event. This is the FREE Shuttle schedule (subject to change):
