1864 Cornhole Tournament is a single elimination event, held at the 11/30 Visitors Center during Old Market Day and 1864 Rebirth.
The 1864 Cornhole Tournament is new this year!
Limited to 10 teams of two.
Single elimination tournament–one and done!
No monetary entry fee, just a donation of a back-to-school item or canned food item.
The event is offered in conjunction with 1864 Ransoming, Burning & Rebirth, and we are remembering to help others because the help of others was an important part of resurrecting Chambersburg from the ashes of the 1864 burning.
Win Franklin County Pour Trail Prizes, including Pour Trail Passport and samples of offerings.
First place is two $35 gift certificates to CJ Barbecue, located in Chambersburg and Shippensburg.
The event is held in the Great Room of the 11/30 Visitors Center, located on the square at 15 South Main Street. Boards and bags are provided, but participants are permitted to bring their own bags.

Bring your talent to the 11/30 Visitors Center in Chambersburg on Friday, May 6 at 7:00 PM to start your journey to a $500 grand prize and a chance to perform before thousands at the 1864 Burning & Rebirth of Chambersburg on July 16, 2022. The registration fee is waived for all A Cappella & Unplugged Open Mic Nights. If you can carry your instrument(s) onstage, you can participate! Bring your friends and family to watch you perform. the more friends and family to support you, the louder they can cheer.
How A Cappella & Unplugged Open Mic Works:
The winner of each open mic is guaranteed a slot in the Round One performance, onstage at the Capitol Theatre in June 2022. Up to 20 acts (through auditions and open mic nights) are invited to Round One at the Capitol Theatre in June. A panel of judges selects the top six acts to move into the Semi-Finals. Then, the public is invited to view videos of the six performers and “like” the favorite performance. The three acts with the most “likes” to move onto the Final Round at 1864 Burning of Chambersburg on July 16, 2022, where one act wins the $500 grand prize.
