DESCRIPTION:Thursday May 22nd\, 2025 * 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM\nThe Franklin County Visitors Bureau is teaming up with the United Way of Franklin County to celebrate service\, community\, and connection with the Viva Volunteerism Mixer.\nCommunity is common ground for these two Franklin County organizations.\nThe mixer will be held at the Franklin County 11/30 Visitors Center\, on the southwest quadrant of Memorial Square\, from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM.\nThe public is invited to celebrate with the people that make so much happen—Volunteers!\nUnited Way of Franklin County recognizes the commitment of people\, summing it up with the well-known quote from Margaret Mead: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful\, committed citizens can change the world; indeed\, it’s the only thing that ever does.” Communities are built around service and dedication plus the willingness to give back.
