Open Mic Details & Guidelines

2 Song, 10 Minute Set Time
Lyrical/musical content must be friendly to all ages
Performers must either perform solo or in a group (no splitting performances)
Performances must either be A Cappella or unplugged (no amplification, no microphones, no electronics)
Instruments must be portable enough to be carried/held (no full drum kits, pianos, wheeled instruments)
Be respectful to all performers
Performers should arrive 30 minutes before open mic (if unable, contact Evan)
All open mics are FREE to the public

A Cappella & Unplugged | Round One | Capitol Theater

June 28, 2025

Start your journey to awards: perform at one of the open mics. If you can carry your instrument onstage or if your voice is your instrument, join Franklin County Visitors Bureau for an open mic. Up to 20 acts will be chosen from open mics for ROUND 1.
Judges will pick the top six acts to move onto the FINAL ROUND, held June 3rd at the Capitol Theatre in Chambersburg.
During Round 1, audience will also vote for their favorite performer to win a $100 prize. People’s Choice winner also moves onto the FINAL ROUND
