Stop by the Nature Center during open hours and try leaf rubbing!
Friday September 4th * 3:30 PM | Afternoon kayak Paddle
Join the park educator on an afternoon paddle around the lake as we explore what makes the park so great!
Kayak and gear provided. Life jackets required to be worn. Participants must be 12 years or older.  Those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.  Limited spots available.
Registration Required. Meet at Amphitheater.
Saturday September 5th * 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM | Board Games
Learning about wildlife in a board game style!  Try your hand at board games, puzzles, and all sorts of fun in the nature center!
Saturday September 5th * 7:00 PM | Bat Night
Join the park educator one last time this year to learn about these fascinating but misunderstood creatures!  Bring blankets and chairs in hope of seeing some bats!  Meet at Amphitheater.
Sunday September 6th * 1:00 PM | Learning at the Beach
Come and see what the park educator has today!
Monday September 7th * 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM & 12:00 PM | Introduction to Archery
Parking lot next to Maintenance. Join the park educator in a beginner’s friendly archery program! Drop in at one of the times listed above and learn a new skill.  Equipment provided.  Participants must be 10 yrs old or older.  Those under 18 must have an adult accompany them.  Please park at lot 3 and walk over. Will be canceled in the event of rain.  Times are 45 min sessions.
Friday September 11th * 1:00 PM | CCC Tour!
Join the park educator for a short walk to learn about the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) and what they did while they were here!  Start at Amphitheater.
Saturday September 12th * 10:00 AM – 12;00 PM | Volunteer Workday
Sign -in at the Brightbill Interpretive Center.  Join us for our monthly volunteer workday.  Projects will include work on the Natue Center, pollinator gardens, and general clean-up of the trails and park.  Go to dcnrvolunteers.pa.gov to sign up ahead of time!
Saturday September 26th * 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM | Fly Fishing (Beginner)
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to fly fish?  Now is your opportunity to learn about fly fishing. Join PFBC for this FREE program, designed to introduce you to the basics of fly fishing. During the program instructors cover the following topics: Fly Fishing Gear, Knots to know, Flies, Casting, Reading the water, Hooking, Landing, and releasing fish.
Fly fishing gear and instructions are provided for the duration of the program at no cost to participants. Registration Required.
