Join the Franklin County Visitors Bureau at the beautiful and historic Capitol Theatre.

This FREE event is the preliminary round bringing numerous performers together, hand-picked from various Open Mics around the county.

These contestants will compete for their chance to perform in the Final Round and a chance to win a $500 prize!

Styles vary from Bluegrass, country, to rock, folk, alternative, a cappella, and more!

Event Details:

FREE ADMISSION to the public
Begins promptly at 7:30 PM
20 contestants
Contestants perform over 2 parts – separated by intermission period
Judges will choose 7 contestants to progress onto Final Round
Audience will also vote for their favorite performer to win a $100 prize – People’s Choice moves onto FINAL ROUND

Those chosen by the judges and the people will move forward to the Final Round on Saturday, July 18th!

Final Round takes place in front of the Courthouse in Downtown Chambersburg right before the 1864: Burning of Chambersburg living history portrayal!
