Step off at 8:30 AM | Gather point: Eastern Avenue (John L. Grove Medical Center south of East Baltimore Street) at 9:00 AM

Program to follow: Veterans Memorial near Greencastle Police Headquarters, 60 N. Washington St.

We walk in honor and memorialize the lives lost on 9/11/2001 remembering the civilians’ military personnel, firefighters, EMS providers, and police officers who lost their lives that day and for those who have suffered and since past from the post health conditions during recovery efforts following.

2,071 steps of remembrance – one community walking together.

Those unable to walk the route are welcome to meet at the Veterans Memorial for the brief remembrance program.

Community invitation: Display the American flag, perform an act of kindness, and help Greencastle honor the spirit of unity that followed 9/11.
