Join the Cumberland Valley Rails-to-Trails Council for the 19th annual TrailFest.

All events will be held at Shippensburg Station located at the corner of Fort and Earl Streets in Shippensburg.

Half Marathon

Our main event is a half marathon.

The out and back course will start and finish at Ship Station on the Cumberland Valley Rail Trail.

An Event for Everyone

You can choose from a Half Marathon, 5k Race, 10-mile Hike, 25-mile Bike Ride, or just get moving with a 1 Mile Fun Run/ Walk (Free for kids from 1 to 100).

All events will be run on the Cumberland Valley Rail Trail and will traverse almost 13 miles of completed rail-trail between the Shippensburg and Newville.

Your registration (except the free 1 mile) gets you a 1 free craft beer, craft soda or wine and a free event t-shirt.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Cumberland Valley Rail-to-Trails Council (CVRTC) and will be used for maintaining the current trail, extending the trail toward Carlisle and Chambersburg, and maintaining the Cumberland Valley Railroad Museum.
