A Simple Card. A Big Smile. A Community That Cares.
Many of you know Sam Worley — at 104 years young, a World War II veteran, former Franklin County Commissioner, former Mayor of Chambersburg, Councilman, municipal advocate, and a longtime public servant who has always put people first.
Sam has been a familiar, friendly face at events across Franklin County for decades.
As he’s not getting out quite as much these days, we’re inviting the community to do what Sam has always done for others: show kindness and show up.
We’re organizing a holiday card drive to lift his spirits and remind him just how much he means to this community, especially during the Christmas season.
A simple card. A quick note. A heartfelt message.
Cards will be collected through Friday, December 19th
