Designed for kids in grades K to 5th grade.

Location: Buttonwood Nature Center in Waynesboro.

All program activities are outside, and each week features a different theme.

Taught by educators from Buttonwood Nature Center, home of The Institute, programs include educational activities related to the season and theme.

Students may attend any or all sessions.

Learn all about an often seen but little understood animal—the squirrel!

Participants will learn how squirrels prepare for winter by listening to a story, going for a hike, playing games, and getting squirrelly!

Pre-registration and payment in advance are required.

Fee: $6 per child, per session for member of Buttonwood/The Institute, and $7 per child, per session for the general public.
