The Shippensburg Community Fair is one of the summer’s biggest highlight events in south-central Pennsylvania.
The Fair attracts tens-of-thousands of visitors during the six day event.
We constantly strive to maintain free admission to our Fair and we do so even today.
The Fair brings the community together by uniting town and country to teach about our rich agricultural heritage.
The Fair first began under the leadership of former founding president Frank Lerew, former treasurer Fred Dillner, and former vice president/president Richard Wyrick.
Today, the tradition continues under current interim president Scott Goodhart.
Over the years our Fair has experienced tremendous growth, something that has forced us to continue expanding.
Our Fair is always held the last full week of July, Monday through Saturday.
Fair activities begin each evening, however, activities are held all day on Wednesday and Saturday.

Kiss the Ground, narrated by Woody Harrelson, is a documentary shedding light on a “new, old approach” to farming called regenerative agriculture, a practice with the extraordinary ability to balance our climate and feed the world.
