What is a Performathon? 
An all-day recital fundraiser in which students raise money by acquiring sponsorships.
Students can win prizes based on the amount of money they raise.
Think walk-a-thon or bowl-a-thon only with music!
Where is Performathon?
Students can choose to perform at any one of these locations
  • Greencastle: Growing with Music
  • Waynesboro: Music Makers
  • Streaming on our YouTube channel
Who can perform?
  • All CVSM students, regardless of age, experience, or ability can perform in this event.
  • Although it is a fundraiser, students may participate regardless of the amount of money raised.

Hagerstown Community College Art Students to Exhibit Work at Wilson College

Wilson college will host an exhibition of artwork by students of Hagerstown Community College’s Department of Visual Arts.
February 12th, 2021 – March 10th, 2021 in the Bogigian Gallery * 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday – Friday.  Admission is FREE.
The exhibition features works of art from current visual arts students at Hagerstown Community College and includes drawings, paintings, and photographs.
Covid-19 safety protocols, including wearing a facemask and maintaining social distancing.

Wilson College to Exhibit Art Made by Area High School Students

Wilson College will host a virtual art exhibition for regional high school artists.
February 24th, 2021 – April 21, 2021
The exhibition, the tenth of its kind at Wilson, is an opportunity to be inspired by visions of creativity and celebrate regional excellence in the visual arts.  Artists from Franklin, Adams, Cumberland, and Fulton counties, Pennsylvania, and Washington County, Maryland, were invited to submit work.

Activities include a sensory nature walk, bird identification and learning bird calls,
and playing games. The group will listen to the book, Owl Moon
by Jane Yolen.

The Institute Presents New Winter Programs for Kids Grades K–5

Makers In Winter – Red Run Park
Thursday January 21st, 2021 * 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Grades: K–5; Cost: $5 member, $6 non-member.
Limit: 10. Location: Red Run Park
Students will hang a winter meal for animals, make bouquets for birds, and weather permitting, make a snow volcano.
Children will also listen to a nature story, make nature art, and play a game.
