4th Annual Festival of Tree, 11/30 Visitors Center Chambersburg

Franklin County Visitors Bureau (FCVB) is excited to bring holiday cheer at the 4th annual 2022 Festival of Trees, held in the Franklin County 11/30 Visitors Center–the former 1865 National Bank of Chambersburg on the square.
The festival opens at  4 PM on November 19th.
Come see beautifully decorated trees and wreaths.
Enjoy a holiday train display, courtesy of Cumberland Valley Model Railroad Club, in the lobby of the visitors center, and family fun in downtown Chambersburg.
Visitors can vote for their favorite tree or wreath as well as participate in the silent auction to take home a tree or wreath.
Funds raised will support Cumberland Valley Breast Care Alliance..
Admission to Festival of Trees is Free. 
Trees and wreaths are being decorated by local organizations.
Visitors may vote for their favorite tree or wreath by purchasing four ballots for $1.
Silent auction bids can be placed in person, via phone at 866-646-8060 or by emailing fcvbfestivaloftrees@gmail.com.
Silent auction amounts will be displayed in the Visitors Center and online.
Current bid amounts will be updated online daily at explorefranklincountypa.com.
Final votes for favorites and final bids for the silent auction will close at 7 PM on December 2nd with winners being announced the same night.

WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 14, 2022 * 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Come enjoy an evening in the Greenhouse making your very own Fall Wreath!
This workshop will be taught by an instructor who will lead you step by step in creating a festive wreath just in time for the start of Fall.
All materials for the wreath will be provided.
Please bring a pair of scissors along to cut the dried elements.
Feel free to bring along any snacks or drinks you’d like to enjoy while you arrange your wreath, event is BYOB.
This makes a perfect outing with your friends, mother, or sisters!

Tuesday Evenings Watercolors – Joyful Arts Studio

Tuesday Evenings, December 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd * 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
This is a Zoom online class.
Join the fun on Tuesday evening painting in watercolors.
We have had a great time painting whatever subject matter the group chooses.
This month we will be working on beautiful cards featuring a winter landscape, a cardinal, and a burning oil lamp with a wreath.
Previous watercolor experience is recommended.
You also will need your own supplies.  We paint what the group decides they want to paint.
Susan will provide a drawing for you and color photos.
