The AAMI board of directors appointed Jason A. Green as the Museum’s executive director. Green was born and raised in Greencastle-Antrim, has an interest in the history of our community, and graduated from Shippensburg University in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in communications/journalism – electronic media. Most recently, Green was employed for 15 years at Entravision Communications, WJAL TV, Chambersburg, PA where he held the positions of Master Control Operator, Account Executive, and Traffic Manager, which included working with local businesses, social media, programming, and national sales. Before working at WJAL, he worked for Verstandig as a part-time, on-air personality for Star 92.1 and did editing of radio shows.
Green is also on the board of directors of the Greencastle-Antrim Baseball Association and is involved with non-profit organizations within the Greencastle-Antrim community.

Jason and his wife Stephanie, and son live in Greencastle. Included in Green’s executive director’s duties will be increasing membership, fundraising, and event planning, such as a wine, chocolate, & cheese event, antique gun show, and a vendor craft event on the grounds of Allison-Antrim Museum. Bonnie Shockey is continuing as president and CEO of Allison-Antrim Museum’s board of directors but no longer will be acting in the day-to-day role of executive director. The board members remain constant in their goal to fulfill AAMI’s mission that it will serve as an educational resource and will develop partnerships for and with the Greencastle-Antrim School District, and other educational institutions to enhance the study of local and regional history.
