Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) training is a nationwide training certification that helps build community pride and helps communities to understand the value of their destination by providing information about history, culture, art, recreation, and the outdoors. The program’s goal is to bring consistency, positivity, and local pride to the people visitors meet in the community. The program is a good way to expand awareness of community, quality of life, and tourism assets.
CTA training is open to everyone, so whether you’re a student, young professional, hospitality employee, history enthusiast, retiree or simply enjoy being involved and in-the-know, CTA offers a variety of ways to be involved.
Being a CTA builds the confidence to go above and beyond with the visitor experience. Plus, it provides a way to network, support community pride, stay in-the-know on local happenings, gain knowledge of local history and culture, and develop leadership qualities.
Still curious about CTA and not sure if you want to commit to a class? Then check out an upcoming CTA event!
