The Franklin County Visitor’s Bureau brought tourism partners, local businesses, organizations
and community members together on March 17th for the St. Patrick’s Day Spotlight on Tourism
Brunch.
Held at the Franklin County 11/30 Visitors Center, the brunch celebrated the power of
community, the efforts made to increase tourism throughout Franklin County, PA, and to
celebrate the individuals and organizations that make our region a better place to be. The
Franklin County Visitors Bureau Partner for Impact Award was awarded to the Buttonwood
Nature Center, Home of The Institute, because of their commitment to preserving our natural
and cultural world.
FCVB shares a deep appreciation for Buttonwood Nature Center’s dedicated leadership team
who makes efforts each and everyday to preserve our natural landscape, support environmental
vitality, share cultural stories of Franklin County and inspire everyone to appreciate the world
around them.
For more than 30 years Buttonwood Nature Center, home of The Institute, has created and
delivered immersive place-based programs for students of all ages, providing opportunities to
