Join the Friends of Pine Grove Furnace State Park and park staff in celebrating the New Year. Start the year off on the right foot by hiking in the park. The route will include flat/accessible paved or gravel paths along the park’s Hiker-Biker-A.T. corridor, and other easy hiking trails if weather allows. The total length of this easy guided hike will be around two miles with an option
to drop out earlier if desired. An extended route totaling four miles will also be available according to the group’s interest, weather permitting.. The Friends group will serve cookies and hot drinks. Please dress for the weather, bring water, and wear sturdy shoes. For more information, contact the State Park Office at (717) 486-7174.
