Spring has sprung and that also means its time for celebrating Easter traditions, including egg hunts throughout Franklin County!
April 2nd Grayce Gardens in Chambersburg will be hosting an Easter Plant Centerpiece Workshop. Hosted in the glass roof greenhouse you’ll get a hands-on chance to create a fresh, pastel-inspired arrangement that blends blooming florals with houseplants to create a look that will last beyond the Easter holiday. All supplies are included and no prior experience is needed.
The workshop will be held from 6pm – 8pm.
Tickets are $85.
Mercersburg Presbyterian Church will be hosting a Maundy Thursday, Biblical Meal starting at 6pm. There will be a candlelit, family style meal inspired by the foods and fellowship of the Bible. Following the meal enjoy a time of worship and prayer.
April 3rd – Downtown Waynesboro invites you to the Boro Bunny Hop! Tickets to participate MUST be purchased in advance, – parents do not need a ticket to accompany children, and there will be free parking downtown. Kids can pick up their Hop Stop Guides at the Old Elks Lodge at 66 West Main Street and then visit participating businesses to collect their eggs!

Two Top Ruritan’s Easter Egg Hunt will be April 4th! The hunt will begin at 10am and is open to ages 12 and under. The hunt will be divided by age groups to make sure its fun and fair for everyone!
The 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Backroads Greenhouse will be held on April 4th. This event is free for the community, age groups will be split by 0-4, 5-7,8-12. Grand and mini prizes will be available for each age group. Adults can join in the fun too! There will be a separate adult egg hunt in the greenhouse.
April 4th bring the kids out for some egg hunting fun at the Mercersburg Sportsmen’s Clubhouse. Open to kids 14 and under.
Kids 12 and under are invited to the Shippensburg History Center’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt! Kids 8-12 will hunt for eggs in one group, while kids 7 and under will hunt in a smaller area. Grand prizes will be available for those who find special eggs!
April 4 – Enjoy a historical egg dying experience at the Fort Loudoun Historic Site! Dye duck eggs using 18th century dye ingredients in the barracks and then participate in the spoon egg race. First place winner receives a prize!
