Gallery 50, located at 50 West Main Street in Wayneboro, announces a new exhibit called The World According to Art, which will run through November 1. The artists displaying in the exhibit are Barbara Deugarte, Karen Ferrick, Mary Grassell, Dee Henry, Melissa Hook, Carolyn Seibert-Drager, Eric Hyne, Andy Smetzer, Gloria Walker, and Lindsay Tozier-School. The gallery is typically open on Fridays from 5 PM to 8 PM and on Saturdays from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
Gallery 50 curator, Marti Yeager, said, “Our title, ‘The World According to Art’ reflects the wide variety of subject matter, styles, and media included in this exhibition.”
Gallery 50 has an influx of new pottery, wood carvings and jewelry to complement the new exhibit. It is also hosting a Summer Raffle, with an original painting entitled “Sundown,” donated by artist Sandra Schuster. Tickets are $5 each or 5 tickets for $20. All proceeds support Gallery 50 and the Arts Alliance of Greater Waynesboro. Raffle tickets can be purchased online here. or in-person at the gallery through October 25, 2025, when the drawing takes place.
The gallery will also have new fine art and crafts by local artists available including: pottery, wood carvings, jewelry, stained glass art, books by local authors and much more.
Gallery 50 is owned and operated by the Arts Alliance of Greater Waynesboro and spotlights fine art and high-quality crafts from local artists and artisans.
