“Art gives me an opportunity to communicate the things that I find interesting – that make me smile!” says Heidi Yacoubian.  A rising senior at Greencastle Antrim High School, Heidi’s love of art was first sparked in ninth grade, when she took her first art class with Carolyn Baker; she has also studied with Alex Miller at Greencastle and more recently, with Professor Philip Lindsey Wilson at Wilson College.

“I love to observe beauty and uniqueness in the world around me, whether it is in flowers, animals, nature or people,” she continues.  Heidi plans to major in art in college. “My dream job would be a detailed concept painter for Pixar films or a jewelry designer for Tiffany and Company!”
