Renfrew remembers Judy Elden, a longtime supporter and employee of Renfrew, with the annual Summer Concert Series. Judy worked the concerts and passed away in 2019. Today the Concert Series is an annual memorial event to remember Judy.
Sit back and enjoy live music on the lawn behind the Royer Museum House on Thursday evenings this summer! All concerts begin at 6:30PM and are free to the public. (Donations are gratefully accepted.) Bring a chair or blanket to sit on and feel free to bring your own refreshments. Light snacks will also be available at our Welcome Tent. Donations and refreshment sales support programming at historic Renfrew Museum and Park.

The Dixie Hiway Band
Established “on the road” in 1981, the Dixie Hiway Band has been rockin’ the country ever since. Sporting a huge repertoire of music ranging from southern rock, country, blues, and other genres, their sound can only be described as authentic Americana at its finest. These musicians are a force to be reckoned with – each singing, harmonizing, and playing multiple instruments to put on a one-of-a-kind show experience.

Chill out to a cool mix of jazz, blues, and fusion! The Heady Samples grabs from all the musical offerings and wraps it all up into one delicious instrumental serving. This is a super group of old friends playing the styles of blues, jazz, funk, with a whole lot of soul. You’ll hear Bill Sinclair on the Saxophone, Jeremy West on Guitar, Eric Avey on Drums, Brent Burgee on Hammond Organ, and John Lanehart on Bass. Come hear a sample!

PLEASE NOTE: Kindly remember that Renfrew is a tobacco, drug and alcohol free facility. Renfrew is a carry-in/carry-out waste park. Please be sure to remove your trash and keep the grounds safe and beautiful for all to enjoy. A trash can is located outside the Visitor Center restrooms and at the lower Welty Parking Lot for your convenience.
