Wednesdays in June * 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
June 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th.
Pick one or all of the class dates for your children to attend.
We will be doing completely different projects in each class.
There will be a guest storyteller at the beginning of each class.
I’ve selected very animated storytellers!
When the storyteller has finished the story we will work on “projects” relating to the story.
Your child will be prompted with questions and asked to respond by creating a work of art.
We will be drawing, using watercolors, colored pencils, and perhaps acrylics.
These classes will be taught at my home under my tents.
We will be walking our farm and perhaps having a few scavenger hunts too.
If it rains we will be in my home studio.
Please dress your child accordingly for outdoor play and apply bug spray before coming.
Directions to my home will be emailed with your receipt.
Allison-Antrim Museum, 365 S Ridge Ave, Greencastle, PA 17225, cordially invites the public to view the new exhibition of the artwork of 20th Century, local Greencastle-Antrim artists, some of whom taught private students. These works of art, in different mediums, have been donated to Allison-Antrim Museum since 1998, when the Irwin property was purchased.
Did you have Mr. Charles Witmer for art class? Come see the striking portrait of a seated gentleman that he painted. Did you or someone you know take private lessons from one of these artists?
The collection is hung in Gallery 365, aka the South Exhibit Bay, in the Barn. For more information, please visit: www.greencastlemuseum.org, Facebook, on Twitter @greencastlemuzm, or call 717-597-9010.
