For the past five years, the Greencastle-Antrim High School (GAHS) Class of 1979 has hosted CLASSMATES FOR A CAUSE Golf Tournament
at the Greencastle Golf Club.
They choose a different charity each year that they donate the profit from their tournament to.
This year, they have chosen the ALS Association (Lou Gehrig’s disease) in honor of Natalie Diehl Shriver (GAHS Class of 1971) and in memory of Steve Smith (GAHS Class of 1977).
This four-person scramble will be held on Saturday, May 20, with a 9:00 AM Shotgun start.
They are seeking sponsors and golfers for their event.
The deadline to register is May 1st.
