History comes to life throughout the day as an authentic 18th Century Market is recreated at our homestead.
Take in the smells and atmosphere of a traveler visiting the faire with craft demonstrations, games, food and more.
In the evening our Fall Frolic Fundraiser will be a ticketed event with food, drink, entertainment and fundraising activities to help secure CI’s funds for its educational programming.

July 26th thru July 30th, 2022 * 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Adams County’s only agricultural county fair.
There are barns full of animals being judged and on display.
There are exhibits of needlework, arts and crafts, baked and canned goods, flowers, vegetables and fruit made or grown by local community members.
There is musical entertainment, a draft and miniature horse pull, fireworks, carnival rides and lots of good food.

Join us on Saturday, July 16th, 2022, in Downtown Chambersburg as the town is set ablaze to commemorate the day that Chambersburg was held for ransom and then burned by the Confederate army under General McCausland.
We celebrate community, rebirth and Chambersburg’s rise from the ashes with a day full of events:
