We’re bringing back one of our community’s favorite and most successful events, with a new twist.
This year, we will hold the Sip-N-Stroll throughout downtown Waynesboro.
We will showcase our local breweries, wineries, cideries and distilleries in various downtown businesses.
Come on out and enjoy locally crafted libations, delicious food, and some great music.
Confirmed vendors include Rough Edges, Roy Pitz, 633 Brewing, Battlefield Brew Works, TBC Brewing, Lake House Distillery and Cold Spring Hollow Distillery.

Chocolate Excursion in Waynesboro

Mainstreet Waynesboro is bringing a version of one of its signature events back to downtown Waynesboro. The Chocolate Excursion will be held Saturday, March 5 from 2-5 p.m. at shops and restaurants in downtown Waynesboro. The event will feature many downtown restaurants and eateries as well as several other sweet chocolate sharers positioned in downtown businesses.

The Chocolate Excursion was created as a safe alternative to Mainstreet’s annual Chocolate Extravaganza, which is traditionally held on the first Saturday in March.Strollers will pick up a passport at the American Legion Post 15 starting at 2 p.m. and follow the prompts around downtown tasting and sampling chocolate from 14 different purveyors.

Purveyors scheduled to participate   include: Amberson House Bed and Breakfast, Brio Coffeehouse, The Candy Kitchen, Christine’s Café, The Crispy Bisquit, Krystal’s Cakes and Confections, Lake House Distilling Company, Nanner Bananer, Postmasters Coffee and Bakery, Rough Edges, Taqueria La Cienega, The Waynesburger and Zoe’s Chocolate Company. Tickets cost $25 in advance at and $30 at the door. Tickets include the excursion as well as a happy hour from 4-5 at the American Legion with acclaimed local singer Kerensa Gray and a complimentary glass of champagne,

“We are excited to bring this event to downtown,” said Bill Kohler, director of economic development for Mainstreet Waynesboro. “This is a chance to showcase our great businesses and restaurants, while sampling some of the best chocolate in the area,” Kohler said.

There also will be chances to win nearly a dozen raffle baskets at the Legion.

Sponsors include Mrs. Alma Oyer, Craig, Friedly, Potter & Moore Insurance Agency, a division of Blue Ridge Risk Partners, LLC., Daniel Arthur, Eunice Statler & Mayor Richard Starliper.

Proceeds benefit Mainstreet Waynesboro’s downtown revitalization efforts. Mainstreet is an independent nonprofit working since 1996 to attract and retain businesses and improve the look, safety and aesthetics in downtown Waynesboro.

Mainstreet Waynesboro has moved our pre-eminent Chocolate Extravaganza to the streets with our first-ever Chocolate Excursion!
The event will be held March 5th starting at 2:00 PM and ending at the American Legion’s downstairs ballroom with champagne, spirits and the amazing Kerensa Gray!
During our stroll, sample chocolate treats from our restaurants and two downtown luxury candy stores!
We also will have several other local chocolate vendors and chocolate samples from our friends at Rough Edges!!!
Tickets are $25 and include all the chocolate you can eat as well as one glass of champagne, and music at the Legion.
We also will be raffling off tons of cool stuff!

Please join Rough Edges, Lake House Distilling Co. and 633 Brewing at the Moose picnic grounds (located on Koons Rd. Waynesboro) to celebrate our first year in business.
We want to say Thank You for your support with a big party where you can enjoy all of our beverages along with some great food and music.
Food and beverages available for purchase. Food Trucks include Fat Russ BBQ, Rollz on Wheelz, and Whatta Jerk, Sweets from Cupcake Gypsy, and more.
There will be live music including DING and Blaine Phebus. 
There will be small games of chance hosted by the Redneck Outlaws with proceeds benefitting families affected by pediatric cancer.

Join Downtown Chambersburg Inc. for Sip & Stroll, Saturday, March 27th, from 1pm-5pm! This fundraising event combines all that we love about downtown Chambersburg! Experience downtown as it’s meant to be experienced – while strolling! The event will have two “waves” of ticket holders (due to COVID-19)- 1PM to 4PM and 2PM and 5PM.

Tickets will be on sale on February 19th, 2021. This event is a fundraiser for Downtown Chambersburg Inc., a 501c3 nonprofit organization and Main Street Organization. Tickets help cover the event cost and helps raise funds to revitalize and sustain downtown Chambersburg.

At our March event, Downtown and local businesses and vendors have paired up to offer some of the best beer our area has to offer! Ticket holders will stroll around the downtown, visiting different businesses and tasting a variety of beer! The event has two start times: one at 1 PM to 4 PM and another from 2 PM to 5 PM. Tickets are $30 for the full-event and $10 for designated drivers. Purchase tickets here.

The event will feature 7 to 8 beer vendors .Event is rain or shine! However, should we receive a major storm, our inclement weather date is April 3rd (for the March 27th event) and May 15th (for the May 8th event). Tickets go on sale for the March event on February 19th. Non-refundable after March 20th. All proceeds from this event support the mission of Downtown Chambersburg Inc.


Another Sip & Stroll  is planned in May 2021 focusing on wine, cider and liquor!
