The first Greater Waynesboro Art Studio Tour is set to take place on November 1, from 9 AM to 3 PM. Fourteen artists are participating. The tour is to showcase the art of local artists. The tour also includes demonstrations.

Members of the Nicodemus Center for Ceramic Studies will do Raku firings, 11 AM to 2 PM. Raku pieces will also be available to purchase. Raku firing originated in Japan more than 400 years ago. The process is shorter than traditional firing and creates spontaneous results.

Sugar Hollow Fram Alpacas will be on hand for the public to meet and pet. Owners Jay and Kathy Brown will be showing fiber spinning, weaving and knitting.

Fabric artist Andrea Finch will be making art with her small, lightweight sewing machine. Water colorist Seth Holmes will be doing wataercolor demonstrations. Lexi Shockey of Blue Lemonade Ceramics is showing pottery-making.
