Auditions for “Forever Changed” the Musical, Star Theatre
Saturday January 13th, 2024 * 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
“Forever Changed” Synopsis:
Following the day of the crucifixion, a gathering of those closest to Jesus, including His mother Mary, John, Mary Magdalene, and Peter, wait to see if Jesus will rise again on the third day as the old prophecies foretold.
As they wait, they try to make sense of why Jesus was crucified and reflect on the impact He had on their lives.
ALL ROLES ARE OPEN : Lead Roles: Jesus: ( Male – approx. 30 – Baritone/Bass Vocalist **No crucifixion scene** )
Mother Mary ( Female – 40’s-50’s – Alto Vocalist )
John: ( Male – 18 and up – no singing )
Mary Magdalene: ( Female – 18 and up – Soprano Vocalist )
Peter: ( Male – 18 and up – Tenor Vocalist )
Supporting Role: John the Baptist and other small speaking parts: ( 20-30’s – no singing )
Ensemble | Various parts for males and females ( 18 and up – no singing )
Rehearsals begin February 1st and will be 2-3 x per week depending on your role ( Tuesdays and Thursdays evenings 6:30 – 9:00 PM and Saturdays 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM )
Performances are March 23rd, 24th, 29th and 30th.
** PLEASE BRING A LIST OF ANY SCHEDULE CONFLICTS TO YOUR AUDITION**
To be considered for a singing role, please come with a prepared contemporary Christian ballad.
Everyone should come prepared to do cold readings from the script.
